Community Volunteers for International Programs (CVIP) aims to increase mutual understanding and goodwill between Michigan State University's international students, visiting scholars and their families, and members of the greater Lansing community. By organizing a variety of enriching educational and cross-cultural activities, CVIP seeks to supplement and enhance the University's own services and specialized programming for members of MSU's internationals.

A nonprofit volunteer organization, CVIP has the opportunity to extend a warm and generous welcome to over 5,000 MSU internationals from more than 130 countries.

CVIP offers programs to help meet the needs of international students and their families, including the following:

CVIP is supported by the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) at MSU.
