New Website Offers Closer View of Scholars as 2017 Applications Open

Posted By: The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program    Published: Monday, 03 Oct 2016

As the 2017 application period begins, The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Michigan State University (MSU) is proud and excited to announce the launch of an improved website for Scholars, prospective students, and all who may want to learn more about the program. The website will also inform readers about the next generation of leaders who are participating as change agents in the expansion of a positive future for Africa.

Visitors can now see and read about every current and previous Scholar to come through the program, and can also search for specific students based on their major, country of origin, or cohort year. This extensive database of students features pictures and biographies so that the goals and progress of each Scholar can be witnessed as they go through the program.

There is no shortage of ways in which visitors can follow the achievements and impact of The MasterCard Foundation Scholars at MSU as the updated website also provides direct access to program news and social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and WordPress where Scholars host their blog.

Also featured on the site is the opportunity to contribute to the Youth Empowerment Programs Fund, which supports faculty and students as well as local and international partners engaged in youth education, entrepreneurship, and leadership initiatives across the globe with a special focus on youth in Africa and Asia.

Visit the new website for The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program at Michigan State University.
